Well, folks, here it is - the spawn of the Oxygen Destroyer, the killer of Godzilla Jr. (almost), and the last foe of the Heisei Godzilla - Destroyer! (Or Destoroyah, but whatever).

For over three billion years, they had silently lurked within the shadows of the planet’s darkest oceans.
The sudden explosion of oxygen that had appeared with the early plants had brought a great change to the world. Some had simply died. Others had adapted, and taken over the Earth from their ancestors.
They had taken a third path.
Silently lurking within the depths of the ocean, they had lived within the rare “dead zones” of the seas, those rare anaerobic environments that refused to hold oxygen within their waters. Every living thing that wandered into those waters was swiftly asphyxiated, and their skeletons picked clean by them, the ravenous micro-organisms that still shunned the oxygen-rich seas around them.
They might have remained oppressed in silence forever, the silent murderers of all life They found, but forty years ago… something had changed. The sudden, abrupt Shift within their environment, which had slain all other life in the waters, had not touched Them in the slightest. On the contrary, They had thrived upon the change, moving out of Their old habitats, which the Shift had made larger than ever…
They liked it.
They thrived, adapted, were born anew within the power of the Shift, and now, as a second Shift, slower and less potent, invaded Their environment, They took every ounce of power they could glean from it. They were more powerful than ever, now, They spoke with one another on frequencies inaudible to all others, assembled Their innumerable forms into a multitude of giant, armored champions, and as They ascended into that hateful, alien, oxygen-rich outside world, they knew what they had to do.
With every bit of power they had, they would pursue their ancient directive to its logical extreme: the eradication of all other life in existence.
They are the exterminators, the murderers, the death knell of everything that breathes oxygen, the multitudes that remain as one:
Destoroyah."
