Mothra Leo

    "The year was 1996, and the rampage of Death Ghidorah seemed unstoppable. Mothra and her infant son had attempted to slay the ancient horror, but only succeeded in slowing it down. Grievously wounded, Mothra carried her larva - dubbed "Leo" by her priestesses - out to sea before dying of exhaustion. Himself injured and tired, Leo swam away, and - to this day, it's unknown how this happened - the military lost contact with him.

    Three days later, as Death Ghidorah burned the forest around Mt. Fuji to the ground, a new Mothra rocketed out of the clouds to battle the ancient dragon. Leo succeeded in finally sealing the horror away once more, before winging his way back to Infant Island. But this was not the end of Mothra Leo's battles...
    
    Leo's status of being not only the first conclusively proven male Mothra, but also arguably the most powerful Mothra of all time, surprised a number of researchers. It's been suggested that something that happened in Leo's chrysalis is the cause of his transformation, but this has not been conclusively proven, since it remains unknown as to exactly what happened to Leo during that time."

    Reality check: This is Mothra Leo, from the 1996 film "Rebirth of Mothra". I do not own the rights, Toho does, etc etc...
