    As the enormous flock of Gyaos continues to swirl and grow over Hong Kong, everyone I have spoken to is astounded to learn that Gamera himself is apparently ignoring his ancient enemies in favor of attacking a strange new monster high over Kyoto.

    The true circumstances surrounding this new beast’s appearance remain largely unknown. A trail of destruction has led from the small village of Kyanso into the nearby forest from whence the new monster took to the air, and it appears that the creature may have drained the village’s population dry of their bodily fluids. Genetics testing is yielding no useful results; it appears to be a mishmash of genetics involving largely Gyaos DNA, mixed with something else. This may be the result of a mutation, but the test results are too nebulous for anyone to risk their careers saying anything coherent yet.

            I was in the Kyoto Train Station when Gamera and the new monster slammed down outside… (from here on, extreme fire damage has rendered many words illegible) creature’s name is “Iris”… Ayana seems convinced that Gamera is responsible for the death of her parents… Has Iris corrupted Ayana, or has the creature poisoned her mind? The creature’s… Gamera appears to be near death… Ayana is still alive, and Gamera has lost his hand… Gamera is standing tall, but he cannot win, the…

Reality Check: This is Iris, the villain from "Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris". I do not own the rights, Kadokawa does, etc etc...
