Apatosaurus nublarensis

    Among the most advertised species on the new Jurassic World resort, the Apatosaurus were imported as a "replacement" of sort for the old Brachiosaurus herd, as a focus group apparently wanted something in the park that would differentiate the resort from the failed "Jurassic Park". The Apatosaurus, huge, but gentle, have proven to be an undeniable hit, particularly among older visitors to the island. I myself find them a welcome respite from the subjects of my study that generally want to eat me, and I feel a kind of kinship with an animal that's grown very nearly as slow as I in my old age! I look forward to seeing them on my visit to the island this summer, and they'll be a huge relief from having to deal with this "Indominus rex" nonsense.
